Imari small plates
Set of 5 imari porcelain plates, with blue and white (sometsuke) and gild design of cherry flowers, framed in an intricate design of flower arabesques in gold on a blue (ruri) background. The back of the plate is also covered with a deep blue glaze (ruri). The design and the size (19,8cm) make it ideal for dessert plates! Late Edo era (mid 19th c.)
